Those were cool. I have a cousin who used to work at Mt. Washington Hotel in New Hampshire, which is notoriously haunted. One night she was about to go home and no one was around. She walked past a doorway, and saw a man dressed in period clothing standing there. She looked back and he was gone. My cousin isn’t the type to make things up either! I wish I could have visited when she worked there.

Wow! I’ve been there – stayed there for a conference once. It was very cool. Didn’t see any ghosts. 😦

I think there’s one room that’s supposed to be the most haunted, and gets requested a lot by visitors. My cousin worked there for a few years and always felt it was creepy, but the only time she saw anything was that once!

I stayed in a famously haunted hotel, the Randolph, in Oxford UK…saw zip but felt odd energy in the corridor…and had weird stuff in photos I took at the Empress in Victoria, BC…

My parents went to High Tea at the Empress! They spent a few weeks in Victoria and loved it. The Empress looks beautiful. I’ll have to ask if they heard anything about it being haunted, but I’m sure it is! What photos did you get?

The Empress is so cool! I was in a kind of parlor with my family, who were seated in an antique settee under very old portraits. I took a few pictures (with an old disposable camera) and when I got the photos there were weird white streaks in them…quite odd. I had never had that happen before and it seemed…in synch with the hauntedness of the place. We felt comfortable but not quite alone in there (we were there for high tea as well).
