Ghosts: A Ghost I Saw Recently

Readers, this is a true, first-hand experience – from my first hand. πŸ™‚  I regularly walk at a path around a small lake.  It is peaceful and scenic and quiet.  There are sometimes a few other people but everyone is respectful and pleasant.  Today I walked along my usual path and saw an elderly woman seated at a bench next to the shore.  She turned and smiled at me as I walked by and remarked how beautiful it was.  I agreed, we smiled, and I walked on.  On my second lap around, I saw her seated at the bench still. I paused to take a sip of water (a few seconds) and when I looked up, she was gone…nowhere on the path which was completely visible, and not on the bench.  There is nowhere else to go.   Like the other ghost I once saw, this one appeared to be 100% not a ghost – it was only when she inexplicably vanished that my mind went there.  What do you think? Comments welcome!

  1. Well this sort of reminds me of the time I was in Switzerland when I was a little girl. I was swimming in a hotel pool with my Dad. We were having a great time. I looked up and saw a little girl, a few years younger than I was, staring at us. She was standing at the poolside, in a dress. She was solid and had brown hair just past her shoulders. She didn’t smile, just stared, kind of sadly. I looked away for a second, and when I looked back up, she was gone. Of course, she could have just been a regular little girl that just suddenly left the pool area when I wasn’t looking. But years later, I still feel “funny” about that incident. She was dressed kind of fancy, which isn’t unheard of, maybe she was going to dinner or something… but it still seemed a little more fancy than kids would dress for more modern times. I joked all these years that I’d seen a ghost, although I don’t truly believe she was a ghost… but still this memory sticks out in my mind. It was just so weird how she disappeared so quickly without making a sound. No one else was around at the time either.

  2. I’ve always experienced humans who have passed on the next life do not look flimsy and see through. If it look that way then it’s most likely not human and never were a human.
