Ghost Stories: A Possessed Patient

Readers, this story is worth a look. It reminded me of a somewhat similar experience from my days in hospital chaplaincy. One day, the Catholic chaplain and I were called in to see a patient in the ER who was a “legal 2000” or mentally ill person. We were certainly surprised when we entered the cubicle and experienced a scene almost out of the exorcist. Like the story which follows, this patient, a small, wiry man, had already burst out of 4 point restraints (should not have been possible) and three very burly male nurses could barely handle him.  He spoke fluently in a number of languages and was quite eerie in every possible way.  Read on for another example…from here:

  1. That must’ve been very unnerving and frightening task to help someone in dire straits like that. Thank God you all was there to help him spiritually and in a medical facility to treat him physical and/or mentally.
    I hope the patient recovered.
Now on to read that story…
