Haiku: Fish Fry

Vinnie stepped in it,

ratting out Joey – so much for

omertá.

The rest of us guys

thought it only fair

that Vinnie follow

Joey

into the turf.  We

wrapped a  dead fish in

an old New York Times

sports page,

and left it on the front

seat of his DeVille.

It baked there, sizzling

In the

August heat.  Vinnie

got the message.  Choked

up, he wept tears for
